In 1999 parents used to scream “get off of the phone!” to get their children's attention. Some years later youths spend more and more time online. Now the internet is built into smart phones that do everything. Are they phones or computers? Today you might here a dad shout “get off the thing!”
It’s easy to focus on the technological changes that effect us all, but if we take a step back… Nothing has changed. Young people are still social as ever. The only shift is in the methods. So if we focus less on the things and more on the reasons why they are social, we'll get to a better place.
We don't focus on the technology when we warm up food in the microwave. Our motivation is to get the food warm so we can eat it and that is driven by hunger. If you focus too long on the science of wave frequencies, you'll starve. So stop focusing on the tech for a second and you'll make life a lot easier on yourselves and your clients.
Technology will always change, but some things remain the same. Today, a note written in pencil is still a status update, a school is still a social network and a close whisper is still an instant message.
Good to know all the things you have described here. Wonderful information which are not known to me before .Thanks for sharing ....Well done
