Our first meetup (January 21st, 2011) had a great turnout. About 40 people attended. Devonshire Terrace was a perfect venue. The staff were helpful and help me direct traffic to the correct room.

At our first meeting I asked for advice about an idea I had to create a collaboration tool Silicon Roundabout. I got some good feedback. I think I'll try to develop the project further using white label scripts available online. I'll seek more guidance after I've developed a functional proof of concept. The next meetup is looking promising. It's going to take a lot of hard work to keep things going, but I'll keep working and see what happens.
