I have been patiently waiting for my work permit to be processed by the UK for what appears to be the opportunity of lifetime. If everything goes well, I will be a digital strategist for one of the most amazing agencies in London, iris. Hesitant to take another job, I have had plenty of time to reflect and to work on personal projects. I am cursed with restless mind syndrome, so, even when I'm starring into space, my synapses are firing away. I'd like to think that my mental condition is similar to a shark's breathing dilemma. They must stay in motion in order to force the oxygen in water through their gills. But, I'm no shark. I simply have Attention Deficit Disorder, ADD without the H. I have to keep my brain busy. Years ago I realized that I also have a tendency to procrastinate, which seems to contradict everything I just said about keeping busy. That is not the case. When I lose time on one task, I gain time on another. There's rarely a wasted moment. Learning to turn procrastination in one area into productivity in another has significantly changed my life. Curiosity, technology and a low attention span can be dangerous in the short run, but when combined with long term focus, anything is possible. It is how a high school drop out can earn a masters degree, while maintaining a blog, a job and experimenting with music.
